A Little Bit About Me

Hi, I’m Mackenzie — a photographer, wife, and mama of two based in the beautiful mountains of Northern Idaho.

Long before I ever held a camera professionally, I was captivated by the way a single photograph could hold a whole story. As a little girl, I would spend hours flipping through my mom’s photo albums and my grandma’s scrapbooks, fascinated by how every image seemed to preserve a piece of time, laughter, and love.

That same wonder still fuels me today. My style is rooted in natural light, storytelling, and candid emotion, capturing the in-between moments that tell the truest version of your story. Whether it’s a mother rocking her newborn, a family laughing between frames, or a couple wrapped up in the quiet beauty of an Idaho evening, I aim to document connection as it unfolds naturally.

Now, as a mom myself, I understand how fleeting these seasons of life truly are. The little hands, the bedtime snuggles, the way laughter fills a room — they change so quickly. Having photographs to look back on has become one of my greatest treasures, and I love giving that same gift to other families.

Photography, for me, isn’t just about beautiful images. It’s about preserving the moments you’ll want to return to — the little details that time blurs but memory longs to keep.

If you’re drawn to warm light, real emotion, and images that feel like you — you’re in the right place.
